Trailblazers will be hosting a service + hiking trip to historic Sweetwater Creek State Park. Only half an hour away from campus, Sweetwater Creek offers trails along its rocky stream through the beautiful hardwoods and indigenous undergrowth. In addition to wildlife, we’ll see some preserved historical sites including an abandoned 17th century mill and an ancient Native American shelter site. We’ll likely be doing some trail clean up followed by a 3 mile hike of moderate difficulty.
Meet at the CULC-de-sac at 8:00 am on February 24th. We’ll get back to campus by 4 pm. The trip will cost $5.
Hope to see you there!
